Colourwheel pillow pattern. Perfect for some pick-you-up knitting. Small project to add some colour to your needles and home.  

For an 8 colour pillow you will need eight x 1 CakeQuarter aka 8 x 25g/ 56m/ 61y of each colour.

For a 4 colour pillow you will need four x 2 CakeQuarters, aka 4 x 50g/ 113m/ 123y of each colour.

• 43cm/ 17" in diameter

You will need:

• Cushion/ pillow pad or fabric and polyfill to make your own - template included.
• Needles: 4.5mm / US 7 
• Darning needle if working the cowl flat, stitch marker if working the cowl in the round.

Needles: 4mm/ US size 6 - 16" circulars - it is possible to work the cowl flat on straight long needles but you will probably find it more comfortable to work on circulars. 

Gauge: 21 sts to 10cm/ 4" blocked - gauge is not critical, but will affect final finished size and yarn use. You could also make this using a worsted weight yarn.
