This yarn glows in the sunlight (the photos don't do it justice!). I dyed 14 colours, inspired from Monet's paintings, think flowers, glistening water, and seas of green.
I just had to make a new top, and Alula by Natasja Hornby was a a fun and interesting knit. I'm looking forward to wearing this when the days get warmer.

Inspired by my Sophies Universe Blanket, Flower Fairy is the colour of the year from WildWestDye.
Flower Fairy starts with being twisted and dyed in Indigo, then retwisted for another dip in the vat. Next up the yarn is immersion dyed in Weld + Myrobalan (yellows) to get the green. Then to hand paint the 'flowers'.
There are eight 'flower' colours which are hand painted in stripes of 3 randomized flower colours, and once all applied the skeins are steamed to set.
Shown here on the Merino/ cashmere/ silk DK base in Rigmor Tee by PetireKnit.
