Canadian spun yarn, hand dyed in British Columbia, Canada. Merino is ethically sourced from New Zealand where the sheep are allowed to express their normal sheep behaviour and mulesing is not performed.
WildWestDye's studio is open for the month of May, no appointment necessary.
Come and see and feel the yarn for yourself, choose your yarn or one of the kits available. You can also have a custom kit made whilst you wait.

TwistMeSundae sock kit contains 225m/ 246y/ 75g of WildWestDye's naturally dyed silk/ merino sport weight yarn, perfect for Spring & Summer socks, and warm feet that like to wear hand knit socks!
Cuff down socks where the leg length is adjusted to ensure you have enough yarn for the length of foot and a mirror matched design, not only the cables, but also the ribbing and stitches used in the lace panel.
We will meet once a week, for four weeks to knit together in this teaching knit-a-long. You will learn all the techniques needed to make these top/ cuff down socks.
You use the following skills whilst making these socks:

Right Lifted Increase
Standard increases and decreases
Picking up stitches
No worries if you haven't got these skills yet as I'll take you through step by step during the KAL.
