All yarn is Canadian Spun.
Most of the yarn I use in Superwash, however, I do recommend handwashing as this prolongs the life of your finished pieces. Always use a PH neutral soap.
I sell the Fingering and DK collection in CakeQuarters which are 25g/ 0.88oz increments. I choose this system as I want to encourage knitters to work with multiple colours without having to buy more than they need.
Yes. However they will fade over time, and like all things I do not recommend leaving the yarn of finished pieces in direct sunlight.

Yes, due to the nature of Natural Dyes and the Indigo layering technique I use on many colours there will be variations. Most of the yarns is dyed in 900g batches.
I love using shifters, it's such an interesting way to achieve different colours from the dye ingredients. Some of the shifters I use are: cream of tartar, chalk and citric acid.
In the Fingering collection the following colours use cochineal: Twizolo, Sunseta, TigerDance, DanceCanyon, BabyValentine, StrawBerryLips, ShowGirl, PlumLips and PlumKiss.
In the DK collection the following colours use cochineal: PoseyVille, NeoBerry, RosyVille, GranCanyon, CactusRose, PinkCaboose and MoonFlower.
For other yarns please contact me as I have OOAK colours and these change.
I use Pomegranate a lot, it adds a lovely warmth to the colours. The rind part is used.
