Design suitable for advanced beginners to experienced. 

Cupid scarf is a stockinette/ reverse stockinette shawl, named after a pole dance move, and a play on the Cupid's arrow. With the bias triangle shape shawl and colour changes to knit your way to your own Cupid to wrap around your neck.

You will need to complete the shawl:

  • 1 x 84m/ 91y/ 25g fingering weight yarn
  • 1 x 169m/ 184y/ 50g fingering weight yarn
  • 1 x 253m/ 276y/ 75g/ fingering weight yarn
  • 1 x 338m/ 369y/ 100g fingering weight yarn 
  • OR: 845m/ 924y/ 250g of yarn (for a one colour shawl)
  • 3.5mm / US 4 to achieve gauge with a 32" cord.
  • Darning needle

You will need to know or learn how to:

  • Increase stitches: M1R, M1L and pfb (purl front and back)
  • YO: yarn over
  • Kitchener stitch (but only 3 stitches!)
