Cowi hat design uses WildWestDye's favourite rolled stockinette border to start, and once you have completed the rib you will work the eyelet/ lace design. Works well in solid and speckled colours. 


Kit suitable for all knitters from advanced beginners to experienced. 

You will receive in your Cowi Hat kit:

  • 100% pure merino, 17 micron (superfine) 4ply Worsted weight yarn dyed using natural dyes.
  • 170m/ 185y/ 100g.
  • Delivered in a cake ready to knit.
  • Instant download pattern 

You will need to complete the hat:

  • Darning needle
  • 16" Circular Needles: 4mm / US 6 and 5mm / US 8. 
  • 5mm / US 8 DPN's or 32" cord for magic loop
  • Stitch marker

You will need to know or learn how to:

  • Knit in the round
  • Knit 2 together.
  • Slip, slip knit.
  • Yarn over

Three sizes available:

S to fit head: 51cm / 20-21”
M to fit head: 56cm / 21-22”
L to fit head: 56cm / 23-24”
